I am Tosin David: Firstly, I’d like to thank God for making all these come to pass and thank DLM for the opportunity to carry out my service year successfully without regrets. It means so much to me. I would also like to thank my supervisor and everyone who has been with me since the first day for their help and encouragement.
My service-year experience at DLM was innovative. I can say I’ve learned so much, but then, like every experience, I had good times and bad times, ups and downs, the highs and lows of which I’m glad to have learned from. I love the fact that the company was able to set aside a structure that’s able to help us employees learn easily and develop quickly. Our supervisors deserve accolades for their interest in our growth and development.
Another positive from the experience during my service year is teamwork. Working together has facilitated our relationship and greatly helped in how we relate to each other. which is very important in a working environment because I believe every working environment must be serene, as it helps psychologically and emotionally.
thereby making everyone work at their best. I believe teamwork is very important as it helps the company grow internally and externally, thereby leading to the easy achievement of goals and objectives. That’s why I take it as one of the positives in my service year experience.
Additionally, accolades must be given to the company for seeing great importance in the general health of its staff by creating time for fun experiences like the DLM Olympics, the Cultural Day, etc., which creates an avenue for staff to relax their minds and take their minds off work during that time. Events and experiences like that help motivate staff and increase familiarity among staff. However, there were a few bad times during my service year, which I’ve learned from and have since become things of the past.
In conclusion, my service year at DLM was an amazing one, and every week was productive, just as it was filled with a lot of experiences. I’m glad to have experienced it. Special love and appreciation are due to everyone for being helpful.
