I am Chukwuma Nkamigbo: With a deep sense of humility, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to this organization, DLM Capital Groups, for the opportunity to successfully serve and complete my NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) internship.
In this one-year internship, I was privileged to work with Links Microfinance Bank’s operations unit precisely. At first, I started with account creation, creating Excel sheets, initiating transfers, and going on to credit, where I disburse loans for new-to-bank customers. All of these I learned on the job, as I had no prior knowledge about operations or credit.
The organisation provided an enabling and flexible work environment, which helped me to carry out my work successfully. During the course of my internship, I was able to take a certification course in Customer Relationship Management, which made me a member of the Chartered Institute Of Customer Relationship Management (CICRM)
I am grateful to my line manager, Yewande Abiodun (Head of Operations), whose support, encouragement, and kindness were the wind beneath my wings. Her drive for excellence and orderliness spurred me to always deliver superior performance on the job.
I want to thank Barnabas Okwudibie (COO) and the entire staff of Links Microfinance Bank for being supportive. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work and fulfil my career aspirations with Links Microfinance Bank.
