Describe your job in three words.

Analytical, user-centric, and fun

What did you study in school and how did you transition into your current role?

I have a B.A degree in Communication Arts and 5 years of working experience in tech. I started my career in 2017 in the PR industry as a content writer. I started first as a social media /content writer and marketing lead in a software development company in 2018.

I transitioned to tech there by assisting in Project Management/Quality Assurance capacities and as time went on, I moved to designing fully. Between then and now, I have done some freelance, remote and contract-based design jobs in the US and Europe as well before resuming to work full time for Sofri in 2021.

What is your day today like? (What does your role entail?)

I am the lead product designer and lead QA so my day to day generally involves designing, researching and optimizing the Software we have.

I think of new ways to improve our app and even design new apps for the company. A repetitive task I handle in my day to day is quality assurance testing and documentation for the Sofri app

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

I’d say the coolest thing I’m working on right is an upgraded version of the Sofri mobile app.

We are adding some new features that are currently not on the app, to ensure a seamless user experience and help customers access savings, investments etc directly from the app.

The iteration process of that is quite exciting and I look forward to the launch.

What is the best thing about being part of the Sofri Team

Sofri is a very fast paced environment and I like that the constant iterations will make you think on your feet and put in your best at every point.

What has been your proudest moment while working in your current role at Sofri?

The product launch and seeing my design blasted across app stores and marketing materials gives me a rush of accomplishment.

It feels good to know your work is impacting the lives of users.

What job would you most like to swap places with for the day?

Communications and marketing, I think. I have a natural flair for it and a working history there.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?

I wanted to be an air hostess. I can still be that though. Lol

What website do you visit the most?

It has to be Google and Muzli

Tell us something interesting we don’t know about you.

I am an artist and I do digital illustrations.  I am also a partner realtor with a leading real estate company.
