I am Oloja Dorcas. I would like to start by thanking the entire DLM Capital Group for the great opportunity to carry out my one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) internship in their great organisation. I am grateful for the privilege.
I was assigned to Links Microfinance Bank, where I worked with the credit department as a credit risk officer.
My role was to appraise loans, mainly new-to-bank (NTB) loans, and to activate and deactivate of ddms. It was a totally new experience for me; learning on the job was really eye-opening for me, and I am grateful for all the knowledge I have gained so far.
I couldn’t have done all this without the help of my amazing supervisors, who were patient with me from the beginning, putting me through step by step and making sure I became good at every aspect of my job.
I want to thank the entire Links family for all the encouragement and for providing a conducive environment to get all my jobs done properly, especially my supervisors,
Mr. Adam and Mr. Andrew, for all their sacrifices, and also my wonderful bosses, Mrs. Yewande (HOP), Mr. Barnabas (COO), and all my wonderful colleagues. Working was made so easy with everyone, and I hope to continue to learn more and perfect all my skills.
